Truthfully there are hundreds of different uses for the lavender oil. It;s like the Swiss army knife of the essential oil world. It does everything.

Breaking and Breathing

Finding lees and less time to do these posts, I am finding that most of my time outside of work is mainly sleeping. I now know why most therapists only last 5 years on average. My body is braking and tired all the time.

the place that I am working is run and owned by a corp. There are certain thing that I don't like but its a job. Yesterday I did a 10 hour day and massaged 6 hrs of 6 people of plain deep tissue. On Saturday I did 2 events and massaged 5 hrs worth of people. Thank God I have today off.

right now self care is the most important thing for me to do. I never did really care for it, but right now I am craving it. I have made a scheduled for myself to do for now on. Its going to be hard to jump into but I am sure that I will be able to feel better in a few weeks.

7am- wake up
yoga and grounding
watering plants and feeding fish
Banana
read artical on planning and such
draw
take a walk and bring camera
Breath
Lunch
go to work

go to pool and swim 10 lap on Sun and Wed nights
blog (I have to put this in here or I wont do it)
Breath
Draw
Read
Youtube
ground/Meditate
Sleep

Maybe that will help. maybe no but I need to try. Breaking is not in the schedule.

Here are some pretty pictures to make you guys relax and breath.

Stripping the Muscle

"Muscle Stripping involves deep tissue manual therapy to clear out the adhesion's (scar tissue) formed in muscle fiber during physical activity. The technique is more effective than a deep tissue massage or a sports massage, as it elongates the muscles and removes the knots. This massage technique should be done slowly and deliberately in order to 'feel' the muscle underneath. "

For a long time I had heard this from many of my coworkers and never really knew what they were talking about. Then three months after hearing this I finally asked and they told me the exact thing that I imagined in my head but never really knew what it was call. So basically I have been using stripping the entire time I have been doing deep tissue and sports. Thanks school for telling me nothing of what I was doing. Kudos.

A Vergin in the Pregnancy World

And I mean that literally. I knew nothing about the world of pregnancy. Taking a class on Prenatal Massage was just for me to get to massage pregnant women. I never knew that there was soooo much more then just massage. I learned more about the world of making a new life then I ever knew was possible.

first off when I got the talk from my parents about sex and such my mother sat me down, gave me a book and told me to read, so yes I was oblivious to this world for a long time.

It's a combination of physical, chemical, and emotional reaction that can either make the baby happy or unsettled in the womb.  Sidelining and angling the torso up is the best way to make the mother comfy. Adding many pillows for her to squeeze and prop her legs up and head help with making her feel cozy and safe.

Do not use aromatherapy that are considered spasmodics.

AVOID PROLONGED PRESSURE

I would say that I have been scared to massage or even touch a pregnant woman out of fear. thinking that they are fragile and could break at a single touch like a glass sculpture. but going to this class made me realize that they are going through pregnancy because they are anything but fragile.

Kootos ladies. you are so much stronger then I could ever be.

A great and heplful site that if like me you are having issues or just want to learn more.
